At Pinnacle Sports Podiatry we pride ourselves on providing high quality, good value care. When booking an appointment at Pinnacle, you can expect consultation with a podiatrist that has a minimum of 10 years clinical experience working in the field of sports & exercise podiatry.
When it comes to foot orthotics, we only stock medical grade prefabricated orthotics, and work with the most well regarded labs in Australia to help us manufacture our fully custom foot orthotics. We use Queensland Orthotic Laboratory and Footwork Podiatric Laboratory to manufacture our bespoke devices.

FAQ’s
Is podiatry covered by medicare? Outside of a hospital setting, generally not. However, some people may qualify for an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan. This is an allied health referral arranged via your GP. If you qualify for an EPC, you are eligible for a medicare rebate of $58. So for an initial consultation, you pay $195 up-front, and we can process a medicare refund of $58 for you, leaving you $137 out-of-pocket. | ||||||
Are orthotics covered by medicare? No, orthotics are not covered under medicare. | ||||||
Is Podiatry covered by private health insurance? Yes, but it depends on your level of cover. Please check with your insurer if you have podiatry cover, percentage rebate and limits. | ||||||

How much do custom orthotics cost? Custom orthotics cost $580. However, to get custom orthotics made, there are consultations and associated fees to achieve the best possible outcome with them. This includes an initial consultation, foot scanning, and a fitting fee.
